 Our accomplishments are due, in no small part, to the generosity of alumni and fans like you. Your support allows us to reach higher levels of excellence both academically and athletically.
As an integral part of the Niagara University community, the athletics program strives to create an environment that challenges student-athletes to reach their full academic and athletics portential. The Vincentian mission and core values that reflect strong work ethic, leadership, teamwork sportsmanship, fairness and service are actively promoted with an emphasis on the intellectual, personal and spiritual growth of the student-athletes.
A gift to the Purple & White Club will enable us to recruit outstanding student-athletes and to enhance the athletic experience for them, as well as for our coaches and fans. You can donate a restricted gift to your favorite team, to a special project or to the general athletics fund.
Methods of Giving
Your contribution automatically makes you a member of the Purple & White Club for one year. All pledges must be paid in full by May 31, 2010, with membership beginning June 1 annually. You may use the following methods to make your contributions:
Direct Gifts
Gifts are accepted in the form of check, payroll deduction or credit card. Payments may be spread over the course of our fiscal year (June 1 - May 31). Make a gift easily online by clicking the "Make a Gift" button at the top of this page.
Matching Gifts
Many companies have a matching gift program that doubles the value of your gift at no extra cost to you. Ask your employer for information concerning a matching gift for higher education in support of scholarships for student-athletes. You will be recognized by the Purple & White Club at the level of your gift plus the match.
Endowed Gifts
Pay tribute to someone's life and accomplishments or leave your ownlegacy while strengthening the Niagara athletics program. Endowment gifts are invested scholarships. Their earned interest is utilized to fund scholarships.
Special Gifts
Gifts may be made through the transfer of stock or other securities, trusts, bequests, or gifts of real estate. For more information please call Peter Sinagra at 716-286-8698.
Tax Benefits
Contributions to the Purple & White Club are deductable to the fullest extent of the law. In order for gifts to be deductable in any given tax year, they must be paid in full, received, or postmarked by midnight, Dec. 31 of each calendar year. Your tax receipt will be mailed to you directly from Niagara.
